Weddings

Fancy getting married in a unique church? We’ve got you.

The Church Of The Holy Sepulchre is one of only four mediaeval round churches in the U.K., is the oldest building in Northampton and has the longest aisle.

For a more informal and unusual service, get married in the Round with your family and friends gathered around you in a circle. For a formal service we have a beautiful high altar overlooked by stained glass windows.

Our church is a real beauty and makes a beautiful backdrop for your special day.

We are a Church Of England church and therefore comply with their requirement for marriage in a church.

You can get married in our church if:

You live in the parish.
You have a qualifying connection – you were baptised or confirmed at the church or your parents or grandparents got married there.
You have habitually attended worship at the church for over 6 months.

For your special day you will have a named verger who will support you before and during your wedding, ensuring that that day goes perfectly.

Christenings

Christenings and Baptism are free and take place during a special Sunday service.

We welcome children and adults of all ages who live with the parish or have a qualifying connection to our church.
